Literature Text

The wind slipped underneath you as you glided through the grey skies.  The cool winter air felt great against your beautiful white scales.  Next to you flew your siblings.  Katyusha was the oldest, followed by Ivan, then you, then Natalia.

Katyusha was a beautiful blue dragon whose kindness could not be compared to.  She looked after our small family in a motherly way.  Though she can be a bit of a scaredy cat sometimes.  She would always go out of her way to protect us.  Her human form was a bit top heavy, but it came in handy when buying supplies.  It seems that she was always able to lower the prices, so none of us complained.

Ivan was a big dragon.  Yeah, no one wanted to mess with him.  He had light purple scales, and also cared very much for his family.  Although when Natalia got too close, he would distance himself for a while.  But if she wasn't pushing it, he would welcome her with open arms.  He was a softy, but could be ruthless at times.  Once another group of dragons tried to prey off of you and Natalia, Ivan showed up and fought all of them off.  It was a really scary occurrence.  Even for Ivan fighting them was not easy.  He got injured and was clawed around the neck area.     His human form was just as intimidating as his dragon form.  He was tall and always wore a scarf to cover the scars from the fight.  In dragon form scales grew over the wounds.  But as a human he wasn't so lucky.

Natalia, like her sister, had blue scales.  But hers were a much darker shade.  Unlike most dragons a few of her scales her light blue as well.  It was not common to have two colors.  Natalia could be a bit scary and odd at times, but she cares deeply for her family.  When all goes wrong, she is the one to usually cheer everyone up.  She is small, but feisty.  She was most certainly closest to Ivan, but loved everyone.  Her human form was beautiful.  When the family walked through town many younger men would fall heads over heels for her.  Though she never seemed to realize it.

You were the rarest of them all.  You were white.  The white scales always reflected what you were feeling.  Sometimes giving off a blue tint, other times a nice yellow or orange.  As much as you loved your family, you weren't originally a part of it.  In fact you had only met up with them a few decades ago.  But you still loved them, and they loved you.  In human form you had (h/l) (h/c) hair and shimmering (e/c) eyes.  To keep pride in your scales, you always wore a white coat.  At least in the winter.  The only way humans were able to tell that you are a dragon was you body temperature.  When in human form you are either really cold, or really hot, there is no in between.

Your human form was achieved after spending some time with them.  Not every dragon could transform, you were lucky to meet Ivan and the rest so you could learn.  It had saved you many times from hunters.  How you despised hunters.  They hunted perfectly innocent creatures for personal gain.  If they were going to kill any dragons at all, they should at least go after the Fallen.  They at least deserved to die.

The Fallen were dragons that lost their way.  They commit crime after crime and feel no sympathy.  Their scales change from their original color to an ash black.  They were usually hard to defeat since they had abandoned all morals.  They also concocted this nasty poisonous substance that collected on their claws.  If any human was touched by it, they would slowly fall into an agonizing death.  It took a good three to four months, but it was sure to happen.  The only cure being dragon blood.  And normal dragon blood could only put the effects on hold.  To permanently rid the body of poison you would need blood directly from the dragons heart.  It was rare, but it happened.  That's why people started to believe Dragons could heal any injury.  It was a myth.  Not true.  When Dragons tried to tell the humans that, they thought they were lying and keeping their healing powers to themselves.  It created a conflict that has now lasted for centuries.

“(f/n)?  Are you okay?” Katyusha asked

You turned your head to see Katyusha now flying right next to you with a worried expression.  Apparently you had been spacing out while flying, that was never a good thing to do.

“Yeah, I’m fine.” You replied

“Are you sure?  You seem kinda out of it.” She argued

“I was just thinking about the past.”

“Really?  Care to share?”

“Just about when I first met you guys.”

“(f/n), you don’t need to remember that sort of stuff any more.” Katyusha said, “No need to remember painful things.”

“Yeah, thanks.” You replied

Before you had met your family you were alone.  Completely alone.  It was feeling you never wanted to experience again.  What made it worse was that you were always on the run.  Because of you white scales you were a prime target of hunters.  Your scales were rare and sold for a good price.  You had been running and found a sunflower field to hide in.  That’s when you met Ivan, who invited you into the family.  You were grateful and were still working on a way to repay the debt you owed to them, despite Katyusha constantly telling you that you didn’t need to.

“Hey Ivan, where are we going?” Natalia asked

“We are scouting for new cave.” He replied

“But the weather is getting rather bad, shouldn't we head back?”

Ivan directed his attention to the sky above him and gave a slight growl.

“You are right Sister, the weather is getting worse.  We can scout tomorrow, da?”  He confirmed

We turned around and headed back to our cave.  It was a good 15 minutes away.  It was going to be difficult to arrive before the storm hit.  You sensed something bad was going to happen when you looked at the sky.  Small snowflakes fell and  the cold bit at your scales.  You flew a little faster but the feeling in your stomach remained.  Something was going to happen.

“Katyusha, I don’t like this.” You stated

“What don't you like?” She asked

“I am getting a strange feeling, like something bad is going to happen.”

“I have the same feeling.  It’s ominous isn't it?”

“Yes.”

“Ivan, could we fly a little faster?” Katyusha asked

“You guys have the feeling as well?” He questioned

“I have it to.” Natalia interjected

At that point you had picked up your speed at a considerable rate.  Dragons have to follow their instinct.  It is often sharper then normal and saves them in multiple situations.  The faster you flew, the heavier the snow became.  You could barely see what was in front of you.  For that to happen it had to be really bad, dragons could see 10 times better then any human.  It was practically a blizzard outside.  You had lost sight of your family and were looking around frantically.

“(f/n)!!!” A voice called

“Ivan!” You responded

You tried to fly towards the voice but it only made it more confusing.  After a while you could no longer hear your brothers calls.  You were separated, and alone.  The wind had picked up and you were barely able to stay in the air.

“Ivan!”

“Katyusha!”

“Natalia!”

There were no other sounds beside the constant whipping in the wind.   You flew around frantically, not listening to reason.  Your family was gone.  That quick moment of dejection was enough for a huge gust of wind to catch you off guard.  It was sudden, knocking you downwards.  You tucked in your wings.  The force of you falling combined with the wind was enough to potentially tear your wings if you were to open them again.  Your only option was to tuck your head to your chest and protect your soft stomach.  You could tell the ground was getting closer, and you were going to hit it straight on.  There was nothing you could do about it either.  All you could do was hope that your body had enough durability and that there was a enough snow on the ground, that you could make it out of this alive.

OoOoO OoOoO

Your eyes slowly opened, and almost immediately burned from the sudden sun that was shining in your face.  Pain erupted from your body as you sat up.  The only things that you could identify from around you was snow, snow, some trees, and more snow.  But your white coat kept you snuggled in and warm.  Brushing some (h/c) hair out of your eyes, you looked down at your hands and moved your fingers around.  You then did the same process with your other limbs.  Surprisingly, nothing seemed to be broken, you were only sore.  Slowly but surely you stood up.

“Hey!” A voice called

You turned to see two men standing before you.  The one talking had purple eyes.

“What?” You asked

“Are you okay?  This isn't a place people would normally be.”

“I don’t know.” You reply

“What?”

“I don’t know.  Why am I here?  Where am I?”

The man tried to get you to calm down, but you walked away from him.  The last question in your mind scared you beyond your own comprehension.

“Who am I?”
A different series!  I shouldn't be doing this because I'm writing a different series.  But I was sitting in school thinking and then I had the idea in general.  Then I decided to make into a Hetalia story.  I already have it all planned out.  I also love adventure and fantasy stories, so I'm excited.

Once again I am going to try to incorporate most of the characters from Hetalia, it's more fun that way!

Sorry the first chapter is short, I just needed a base.  After this the chapters should be much longer.

This was partially inspired by  Nightsevera.  I love her story idea.  I just wanted to take it a different direction.  A very different direction.  But check out her story; it's awesome.

Next~ fav.me/d7yl89b

I don't own Hetalia, the picture, or You!

I hoped you enjoy(ed) reading it~!

Nice start! I'm actually writing a story similar to this. Only it's a unicorn instead of a dragon.
